Our role has been to provide GDC with the foundational technology required to accurately identify and assess Kenya’s vast geothermal potential.
Black Eel Holdings delivered a comprehensive suite of Geothermal Resource Assessment Equipment, supplying the essential tools for Magnetotelluric (MT) surveys—a key method for identifying deep geothermal reservoirs. The supplied package included: Magnetotelluric (MT) Equipment including high-sensitivity magnetic sensors and telluric cables. Electrodes for precise measurement of natural subsurface electrical currents. UMT data acquisition firmware and systems for robust data gathering in the field.
